spyridona at 12:35pm on 22/05/2009I think I've fucked up the border of the shawl. I'm not sure. The nupps are making it impossible for me to read my own knitting.
My current plan - since I'm about a third of the way through the border - is to knit through to the end. I'll keep my life lines in. If it looks wonky when it's done, I can rip down to the body of the shawl (and cry a lot). If looks fine, I can keep it.
I have ripped out twelve rows of lace (all of yesterday's work, I am so upset) because the nupps were all off. Happily, I purled loosely at the end of the body, so it wasn't a chore to get the stitches back on the needle, like it was last time. But, seriously, twelve rows of lace. That's pain, I tell you.
